Just as so many others have before you.
I can tell you a couple of things that I have learned in my life. I was always a fat kid, and as I got older, a fat guy. I got extremely sick with Crohn’s when I was a senior in high school, in bed for almost a month. Then I wasn’t a fat kid, I was nothing. I had lost 36 pounds and was smaller than I was in middle school. That is when I started a journey to get better and this is one of the things I have learned that may help you in your struggle for self confidence.
There is a difference between looking in the mirror after you have been sitting on your butt all day, eating junk, and saying “I am so out of shape” than looking in the mirror after kicking your own butt all day, eating right and saying “I am so out of shape”. The difference is that in the first, you know YOU have failed yourself, in the second you know that this is what you have to work with at this moment, that you could not be any better than you are right now because you are working your hardest.
There is such a huge difference in these feelings. You may not like where you are now, but it is the fight in you to get up, and start working that will change what you will become. It is knowing that you are giving everything towards that goal that will change the way you feel. So start doing something. Be able to look in the mirror and see that progress needs to be made, knowing that you are doing everything you can to achieve it.

If you think you are too far gone, look at this man. He wishes he could be where you are, to have the ability to get to the gym that you have, the ability to get yourself up, get yourself healthy, get yourself fit. I hope this video will show you how lucky you are to be able to get up on your own two feet and get fit. So go and do it.
